Christadelphian Youth Club (CYC)

As a group we believe that children are our most important asset and we want to make sure they are having fun and learning to think of others as well as themselves. There are many lessons in the Bible which can be used to teach our young people how God would like them to live.

Monday Teen Zone

Each week we hold a Monday night bible reading class where our teens get together to read God’s word. Currently we are reading through the book of Matthew which has been giving us insight into God’s son, Jesus Christ, and the message that he brought to the world. The class is discussion-based and the teens are encouraged to apply the lessons to the challenges that they face each day. Following the class, the young people have time to spend together enjoying pizza and snacks and building their friendships with each other.

Friday Fun

On Friday nights we have an event for all of our young people including the younger kids. The children are split up into age groups and an age appropriate bible lesson is taught. Once again the kids are encouraged to contribute and give their perspective on the lesson and how it applies to them. Following the class we have an open gym where kids have a blast playing together. The older kids usually play volleyball, dodge ball, basketball, or floor hockey. Everyone has fun together and friendships are strengthened!
